Our January 15th meeting at noon at Mountain Park Activity Building showcased Ashley Frasca, hosting “Green and Growing with Ashley Frasca” of WSB 95.5. Proud to become a new Master Gardener, we all enjoyed her commentary as she was an entertaining and knowledgeable speaker answering many questions such as “What would Walter Do”. It was a good day to share the many soups, chili and cornbread brought by the attendees for our pot-luck luncheon. Related Images:

September 2023 Picnic
Every September, GCMGA hosts a picnic for their members and member guests in recognition for their volunteer service to the community over the past year. We look forward to this time to spend relaxing and talking (gardening, of course!) with our fellow gardeners. Related Images:
April 2023 Meeting
Our April’s Meeting on the 17th introduced Georgia’s youngest hydroponic farmer, Malon E.D. James. Young Malon believes hydroponics are a viable solution to our world’s problems of food insecurity and climate change and showed us different hydroponic equipment. It is Malon’s innovative strategies that has brought his project to fruition securing corporate, university, farm growers, NRCS, FSA, food insecurity pantries and other national support. He has a team of subject matter experts to help him get this research project to the finish line. Related Images:
