On August 18th, Tony Whitaker told us “How Not to Kill Your Orchid “and we learned how to have an orchid green thumb from this orchid expert! It wasn’t surprising to learn the number one problem with handling orchids was over or underwatering the plants. We heard about the different genres and species and how to properly care for them. Tony is the former president of The Northeast Georgia Orchid Society and has been raising and growing orchids for over 40 years.” Join us at 6:30PM for our potluck bringing a dish to share or at 7PM when the program starts at Bethesda Senior Center in Lawrenceville.
