August 17, 2026 Meeting

Posted on by

What a delightful evening to listen to Ann Litrel, artist, and Charles Seabrook, longtime science writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. There was a full house of members and visitors to hear them. Ann and Charlie have co-authored a new book from UGA Press, “35 Natural Wonders of Georgia to See Before You Die.” They shared some of the images of the beautiful nature destinations from their book and talked about those unique communities of wildlife, birds and plants. They also offered conclusions on how these special places might inspire and guide garden design in homes and communities.
