On Monday, May 20, at 7 pm we heard our guest speaker Will Rogers talk about the Grassland Initiative using I-Naturalist. Will is a research professional at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia who he specializes in rare and endangered plant studies and was a fountain of knowledge about what’s going on in our state. He highly encouraged us to add the iNaturalist app to our smart phones and become a member and to also join the Georgia Grasslands Initiative. A native of South Georgia,, he developed a knack for noting strange and unusual relationships in the natural world.
