April 2016 Monthly Meeting

Posted on by

Sheri Dorn, an Extension Horticulturist and State Master Gardener Coordinator at the University of GA in Griffin, was Gwinnett County Master Gardeners Association’s guest speaker on April 18, 2016. Her topic was “Sprouts” and Youth, School Learning for Children”, and we heard a thorough update on the MGSprout program in Georgia.  A lot of work has gone into this new initiative for six to eight-year-olds to get them interested in gardening and it was a very informative program.
