Here are some pictures taken out at McDaniel Farm Park in the garden today. We harvested about 60#’s of produce to send over to Annandale Village, our Plant-a-row for the Hungry location here in Gwinnett. We now have a total of 395#’s of produce harvested and donated to-date! The garden is looking great and we have hardly any weeds. It frees up our time to work on other tasks. We’re actually having fun working there on each workday. Related Images:

March 2011 Meeting
Our March 21st meeting featured Dawn Hines, a DeKalb Master Gardener who talked on “Trees for Our lives; Small Native Trees for the Landscape”. At this month’s meeting we collected for the Snellville and Loganville Co-op’s, canned fruits and jellies only. This was their request when MG, Shirley Cook inquired about what they are short in receiving from the public as donations. Ms. Shirley accepting and delivering what we bring in to the Co-op’s.
